Application

The humimeter RH1 is a thermohygrometer with a data logger and a sensor built into the housing. It measures relative and absolute air humidity, temperature and dew point - for laboratory, climate and environmental work.

The instrument also works out the equilibrium moisture content of wood. Held against timber or paper it shows the moisture the material will settle at under the conditions in the room - and that is the figure which decides whether a board will start to move and paper to cockle.

The sensor sits in a tube of Ø12 × 102 mm protruding from the housing, so the device is ready to work straight away, with no probe to select and connect.

RH1 or RH2

• The humimeter RH1 has its sensor built into the housing. You buy one device and measure the air and the equilibrium moisture content of wood.
• The humimeter RH2 is shorter (145 mm) and needs a separate probe, but it gives a choice: an air probe, the LF_TB 120 precision insertion probe, a pyrometer or the chamber for measuring water activity. It also handles the equilibrium moisture content of granulates and the aw value.

In short: the RH1 for climate and wood measurements with one ready instrument, the RH2 where an exchangeable probe or a water activity measurement is needed.
