Cellulose moisture measured in the stack of sheetsThe humimeter PMZ is pushed in between the cellulose sheets and gives the absolute water content within seconds. The stack stays intact, so the measurement can be taken on goods ready for dispatch or on a delivery being received, with no sample cut out and no drying oven. What it measures
The measuring range of 6 to 40 % water content covers both commercial cellulose at normal moisture and material that has taken up water in transport. |

The USB interface module with the LogMemorizer software is not included: it is a separate item, art. no. 12278, or 14957 in the battery version.
Checking the readingsTest block art. no. 12308 gives a quick check that the instrument still measures as it did on the day it was calibrated. Independently of that, it is worth comparing a reading with the drying-oven result from time to time. |

The PMZ is made for cellulose sheets in a stack and gives the absolute water content. For paper and solid board in a stack there is the humimeter PMP, selected by the density of the paper; for waste paper bales the humimeter RP6, measuring to a depth of 500 mm; and for the equilibrium moisture content in a stack of paper the humimeter RH5 with its sword probe.
